The Mission

Skylanders Ring of Heroes is a mobile role playing game that is set in the Skylanders universe and which sees players building teams of popular characters to fight in a turn-based manner against many well known enemies . 

Com2Us and Activision were seeking an Australian digital marketing agency who could assist with the soft launch of the game in the Australia-Pacific region by providing expert consultation, go-to-market strategy development, creative concept design, and a data-led influencer campaign.  

The Process

The Skylanders Ring of Heroes campaign was in its final 3 weeks when Growth Marketing Genie was brought on board to help improve performance and achieve set goals.

Using bespoke in-house research software, the Growth Marketing Genie data science team developed a thorough list of ready-to-work gaming influencers who aligned with the brand messaging and target audience for the campaign.

A single adset with a handful of creative concept designs were implemented to rapidly improve brand awareness during the later stages of the game’s lifecycle.
